Objects shaped to serve as stable vessels and endpoints for magic.
The Crafts collection encompasses objects deliberately shaped to serve as stable vessels and endpoints for magic. These are not devices that generate magic, nor are they mere tools that channel it temporarily. Rather, they are physical forms crafted with such precision and intention that magic finds them naturally compatible — places where magical force can settle, reside, and persist with varying degrees of permanence.
A Craft does not force magic into being. It provides structure: channels, boundaries, resonances, and anchor points that allow magic to take up residence without dissipating or becoming unstable. In this way, Crafts function as magical endpoints — loci where the flow of magic can conclude its movement and remain.
Because they are built in harmony with magic rather than in opposition to it, Crafts occupy a unique space between raw magical expression and the more laborious constructions of technology. They do not replace the directness of magic; they simply offer it a place to rest.
Each Craft entry should include the Craft Properties required to create it. When all listed properties are combined through appropriate means, they constitute the act of "making" that Craft.
Each entry should also specify the type of Sustained Action required for its creation.
These categories align with the Crafting rules presented in the General Draft.
